Thanked: 154Hi Kerger,
I believe that The Art of Shaving is based in New York, and has several stores there. I know that they sell at hanging strops. The following link is for their page that shows the New York locations:

Best of luck!

I have strops from several of the top makers and I like the SRD Premium 1 the best. Don and Lynn have told me that they recommend the "I" as the best for all around use. Email Don about your specialized delivery requirement. He is fanatical about customer service and I know he will go out of his way to get you what you need.
You might also consider trying their felt strop and diamond spray to go with your new strop. Outstanding stuff.

+1 to what Bill said. The premium 1 has the perfect draw (resistance) for my hand. When stropping the razor some strops have little or no resistance while others have so much that I have to be really careful due to my particular stropping method that I don't miscue and cut the strop. The premium 1 is just right for me.
The felt with the diamond spray is great on a final touch to tough steels like S30V or ATS 34 as well as bringing a blade back if it just needs a touch up.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
