    James,
Yes, I can do the linen alone. Still a few days away from exact pricing but it will be fair like my other products. I have a #361 here so I can make the size match. I think it is a 2.5" x 24" too offhand.

Okay, the new strops I mentioned are available now. 2.5" x 24" vegtable tanned, oil treated or natural finish with or without linen......or just linen.

Pics in the Gear For sale Gallery.

    Thanks,

OK, back to the stropping technique. I noticed that I am getting a good draw on my strop, but wonder when is enough enough? Can you tell by feel? Or. is the proof always in the shave you get. I frequently test the blade on my arm and am beginning to get used to never having any hair in that one spot.

The proof is in the shave. To me at least the razor never feels any different on the strop so I take the same 25 passes each time and shave. If it drags on my fac a bit I set it aside to go over a pasted strop before the next shave.

I use the thumb test after the pasted strop though as feedback is imortant there so you know when to stop. The hanging strop is a little different to me, it's just a flat 25 and go from there.
