    Default Back Hone Angle

I've been stone honing at an angle and stropping at the perpendicular (or nearly so) angle. When flat bed back honing on pasted leather, should I follow the grooves or go against them as I do on the dry strop?

Also what's the best repair for those chips out of my strop? *sigh*

I use the same angle and stroke on a pasted strop and dry strop.

    Just my two cents,
