    I second the jojoba.
    I use it to condition gut strings and it works just as well as neatsfoot oil in my experience.

    Neatsfoot oil is available on the bay. I bought mine few days ago in UK since I couldn't find it in my city: some sellers ship worldwide for a decent amount ("decent" at least in EU). I use Jojoba oil too for my skin, but it costs to me €5 for 50ml, so..
