i agree. ken from ruprazor.com is a great guy. i have sent him 2 antique store finds both over 100 years old apiece to restore. he did an incredible job on both. i was using one as a box cutter and then for wires and such. he got it back into great shape. i also purchased a boker from him and am very happy with it.

I got one of Ken's starter strops as a door prize at the last DFW Texas meeting. I have been using it on a regular basis, it works very well.

+1 on Ken's (Kenrup, Ruprazor) Strops. I recently, in my quest for a new strop, decided on his Paladin model. This strop reminds you of the type leather used on the Solingen Herold strops, that smooth, almost felt feel to it. I use it in conjunction with a Red Latigo purchased from Tony Miller, also an excellent strop. I like to use Ken's as a finishing strop. At 3" wide, it's fantastic. Over the last year, I've really started liking the wider strops. I highly recommend Ruprazor. Ken is awesome, and very helpful. He's also fast to answer your emails.

Thanked: 45Another Ruprazor fan. Great service, affordable. Filly strop is the best starter out there. He's honed a Robeson and W&B for me; fast, great edge, affordable. Polished both razors up. Sent a W&B 7/8 for honing and restoration of the chipped horn scales. Came back gleaming and extremely sharp. Recommend without any hesitation.

I've felt both his leathers and I'm trying to order a Paladin now! Apparently he's swamped but I've been a real *****y customer (just kidding lol, I've just been asking A LOT of questions) and he is always patient and a great guy to talk to. I've done business with him before and he's a great great guy.
I have no worries buying my new strop from him. None.
