    Default Strop Paste

    So recently I cracked my RAD and I'm buying razors at a fiscally sustainable rate. But SAD kicked in. I'm looking for info about vintage strop pastes. JOSMON, DD, and such. Anyone used these? Any info on them? (Also this is a blatant plug- if you want to sell some please pm I'm looking to experiment)

    (PS: I'm not looking for info on diamond stuff or CrO or CeO, I'm looking for info on the vintage crayon waxy stuff)

    (Government of India)

    Its only the ChrOx and stearic or paraffine. Nothing dramatic.
    You can make it yourself, just as I do.

    Works well, you can either apply it warm or with lighter fluid.
    The latter also for refreshing the surface or cleaning it off.

    mparker762 mentioned one that he got from Harbor Freight that he liked alot. I think it was the one in the white package but it might have been the red ? It isn't vintage obviously but it is crayon type.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
