    Default Applying paste to strop...

    Hi all, are you supposed to apply diamond paste to a strop (linen) every time you want to touch up the razor, or is it only once for the life of the strop?

    Welcome to SRP. Just my opinion .... and that of many others .... a pasted strop should be an auxiliary to your daily driver. That should remain unpasted. Here is an old post on pasting a strop. Check out the SRP Wiki for all kinds of good stuff on straight razor shaving and maintenance here.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    With any paste be it CrO or diamond it should last a very long time. You know its time to recharge when the desired result doesn't seem to be working or its taking more trips on the strop.
