No doubt, I think that's beautiful! My TM horsehide is just great but pretty plain jane. Heck, I might have even paid a few bucks more for patterned grain horsehide.

    I like it.

Thanks for all the input, guys! And definitely thank you to Tony for the amazing strop, and for the quick response.

I love how the horsehide looks, it was really more of a curiosity thing. I look forward to many decades of use with it!

Great Looking Strop Tony! Rich you are actually not far off. What those marks are is Fat Lines that were in the hide of the animal. As long as they are not raised or sunken they cause no harm and like said can add character.

    Thanks Don.

Cellulite sort of but more like stretch marks as they are seen but not felt.

Now real fat wrinkles are just that actual wrinkles, usually found near the neck section of a hide and they will be felt on the hide. Not something you will find on strops made by the strop makers on SRP anyway. I have owned a few commercial strops that had them and wondered how they make it past quality.

Next time instead of depositing a paycheck, cash it, then deposit most of it (including the dollars and change) this allows you to skim your own paychecks without it being apparent on the bank statement lol!

Lol its what I have discovered. Every now and then buy a few CHEAP things with paypal so when they see your brand new artisan strop you can be like, yeah I bought it, got a great deal though, only $20!
