    Default Marble strop

    I saw something very peculiar today. It was a metal clamp with two marbles tensioned between it. There was a clipping below the item that said it was a strop, of all things. Apparently you'd run the blade between the two marbles. Anyone ever heard of or seen this?

    It was a gimmic thing for sharpening dispposable safety razor blades .....

    That would explain the disposable blade that was sandwiched between the marbles! Thanks, David.
