FWIW, I've seen the longevity of my edges go waaaayyyy up doing 50x50 or so instead of 20x40 like before. That & a few passes after drying the blade off to make sure it's dry before putting it away. Not sure exactly why. Probably better prevention/removal of micro-corrosion, methinks.
