I have received the TI paddle strop from Classicshaving and put on the TI paste on the black (rough) side and 0.5 diamond paste on the natural leather (smooth) side. I found it sticky when pusching and pulling the razor on the paddle. Not the same as I strop on the non-pasted leather DOVO strop which is effortless. Am I putting too much sharpening paste? How much paste should be put and how to put the paste on the paddle? Should I need to wet my figure to work the paste onto the leather to even it out? Many thanks for your advise.
