Thanks and question
First off I'd like to start with a word of thanks to SRD for the quick and friendly customer service. I'll definately be a repeat customer!! Y'all have some amazing products, and they arrived way before I expected them to!!
Ok, so I just got my SRD modular paddle strop a few minutes ago, and was going to paste the felt pad with the .5 diamond spray. I've read other threads on how to do it, but having never pasted a strop before, I just want to make sure I understand correctly. The bottle says to apply two coats, evenly, but not saturated, then let dry over night. Am I supposed to let the first coat dry before applying the second? (in other words coat now, coat again tomorrow, use the next day) Just kinda OCD about doing things right the first time...
Thanks in advance for the replies, and thanks again to SRD!!

Thanked: 4942Spray up and down the felt lightly 2 times and let it dry over night. That should actually be fine for the first time. Whenever you put the spray on, it is best to let it dry. Less is usually better and you just want to coat the surface, not drench it down. Hope this makes sense.
Enjoy.

Bandman,
++1 on what Mr Abrams has said.
I over applied the spray on my felt paddle, and it dried with a hump in the middle of the strop - the felt had swelled
I managed to ruin the edge of two (2) razors before I noticed the hump !!
Luckily, I was able to revive both the felt paddle and the razors
Have fun !
Best regards
Russ
