Applying paste to strop
I've got the tubes of green and red dovo paste and i was wondering how i go about applying them to strops; what do i apply/work them in with? how much do i use and i guess finally how long should an application last before i need to do it again? any help is really appreciatted, thanks.

Yup, thats a great resource. I wouldn't use 2-3 pea size drops for a small paddles strop, probably less. I use very, very small amounts, rubbed in with my finger and reapply every 3 months, or if the paddle becomes real black. Try to ensure that, when done, you have a smooth flat surface, free of micro hills and valleys from the paste.

i put the red on a cheap hanging strop and the green on an old wide belt, ive been going at it for probably 2 hours or more and i think im doing well, ive got the razor cutting eyebrow hairs (figured they were beard like) with relative ease (not as in shaving my eyebrows lol but the hanging hair test btw). i think im going to give it a few passes on the paste-less strop's linen and leather and then put this thing down for the night.
