It's ok to laugh
I am fairly new and as we all know proper stropping is something we all have to master. Like a lot of newbies I have taken to practicing my stropping when I can, all fair and good. So the other night I climb into bed and the better half says “ I see you were playing with the razor again” Confused I say yes I was practicing stropping again and ask how she knows. All I get is “ A woman just knows these things”. After a few seconds of getting comfortable, she starts to chuckle and stays “I think your legs are getting a better shave than your face with that thing”
I look down, yep there are bald patches on my legs, more than I thought. I have been testing how well my stropping was going by doing test patches on my thighs. It is now a running joke that I shave my legs more than she shaves hers.

Ha ha, that's great!
I admit, I do the same thing on my arms. Fortunately, being a chick, my arm hair isn't all that dark or long so the bald patches don't stand out much. But my left forearm definitely has a few...

I pick off single hairs either on my upper arms or on the insides of my forearms where they aren't as noticable. You really only need to cut one at a time to see how the edge is.

Thanked: 530I don't have bald patches on my right forearm...
I have "hair patches on it" ... I have actual hair on MAYBE 10% of my left forearm... the rest is all either growing fuzz, or shaven away...
I strop A LOT. And it's fun to test..
I also have a bald spot on my head (tiny) from doing too many HHT's for poops and giggles...
Welcome aboard

I think there is a joke in here some where,
"How can you spot straight razor shaver? He/She is the one missing all the arm and leg hair"

Haha!
Yep..! I have a few bald spots on my arms. I tend to use leg hair more though, its less embarrassing..! Well, it will be until summer and I start wearing shorts anyways..!
I always wonder what you pro's do when it comes to arm hair tests..! Do you have some miracle formula that makes them grow fast enough? Or do you shave the dog when you've run out of arm hair?
Anyways, heres my nicely balded wrist..!
