Paddle strop from TM
I actually used my paddle strop with sharpening pastes (Tony Miller special) for the second time today. I had a Dovo I purchased on ebay from an SRP member and I touched it up with the .25 diamond pasted side. Wow what a great addition to my sharpening arsenal. I got a really beautiful shave today with it. Probably one of my closest. Nice and smooth

The nice thing I have found about the paddle strop is that if a razor is just about keen but needs a bit more then the paddle strop can be used mid-shave. Just strop on the paddle then on your hanging strop and your back in business before your lather dries out. I have been favoring the .50 pasted side. The .25 may work on some razors but I have had a few that may have gotten a bit too sharp.

Rich, so I decided too give the .25 another shot last night. I took a 5/8 Genco spike and did 20 round trips on the .50 then 10 on the .25 side. I had one of the most best shaves ever. Super close and no irratation. I followed up with Aloe vera then Peraso.
mmmmmmmmmm Peraso...

I got so used to shaving with a str8 I forgot how much I hated the moch3. A shave with a sharp razor and proraso nothing beats it except maybe Old Spice.

Yeah that 0.25 works well for me too, but you gotta be careful with it.
10 strokes is all you need.

I do like the effect that the .25 has on the blade. Nice smooth shave and the paddle is easier than the hone for touchups.

Agreed gentlemen. The paddle is great for "touching up" a good edge to make a great edge.
