    Thanks
Not often... for sure not each time.
Basically the diamond is not consumed so
it does not need to be refreshed often.

After the initial loading, try January, April,
    July, October.... or just January.

How many passes do you make when you are just touching up a razor?

One less than you think you need.

Start with ten (OK that is now nine) and depending on
how the razor responds increase or decrease.

If the canvas has been sprayed give the canvas 1/4 of
the number of strokes you would give clean canvas.
Increase or decrease depending on how the razor responds.

Once the canvas begins to darken it will self paste....
i.e. the oxidize steel will act like a fine polishing paste and
the need to refresh the strop will be minimized.

A honemaster will need to do stuff "shavers" do
    not need to do.

I'll be using a SRP Paddle Strop with felt pad.

    ...snip...
Felt, paddle all about the same....
One less than you think you need.

Adjust based on your shave testing....
It is less about removing metal than it is removing
exactly the right bit of steel.
