Thanked: 9As with most of the replies to your thread, no worries really. Fear not; Almost everyone destroys their first strop, and 99 percent of the time the damage can be dealt with. Most damage can be repaired with a careful application of a little glue or some sanding.
Even people who have been doing this for years will sometimes nick a strop. I was watching this guy on youtube give a demo on stropping and he dug his razor pretty deep into the linen side and later on the leather side.
