Thanked: 14Stropping a wedge
Hi,
I recently acquired a (4/15?) Sheffield wedge. I got it sharp, and sharp it is. But im really not sure how it got that way.
But my question is. When i strop it, it is completely unresponsive (auditorially that is). I've several wedges that at least tell me a bit, but this is just odd.
I was wondering if theres something special i should be doing, or that i dont need to change anything at all
thanks
p.s. I generally keep my strop very slightly slack, if that helps any.

Thanked: 30It won't be audible because of the thickness. Strop like any other.
