    I saw this and I had to go back and re-read the OP. If you're getting a decent shave with the Swede, then what's the matter? The hair tests bow to the shave test. If it passes the shave test you're golden...the other "tests" don't matter.

    Where did you get the two razors, were they sold shave ready by a reputable dealer/person or did you pick them up from a garage sale/family heirloom. I'm just wondering if the blades are actually shave ready because it would a shame if you trying to learn on something that is not agave ready. Good luck!
