Let me put it to you this way. I use so little pressure, when I use one of my strops that exhibit draw the first stroke, the razor is literally pulled out of my hand.

Pull the strop taught
Pressure the strop naught.........!

I knew there was a reason that I didn't like strops with lots of draw: it's that pile of razors on the floor, under the drawful strop, wrenched from my gentle grip by that awful, drawful strop.
