I love seeing posts where someone feels that they have advanced.
All I thought of when reading this was how awesome you must feel and how proud I am that another SRP member has succeeded in another aspect of this hobby.

Somewhere in the pass, my Filarmonica Novodur 8/8, when stropping, was not so gentle with my Kanyama 90000 (!!!). A very small cut was born. Until today I'm angry with her. But I also cannot forget, the great shave that I had that day!

In my admittedly limited experience, it's hard to strop correctly and slowly. I found that when I was stropping slowly, I couldn't keep the blade evenly on the strop, and the strokes were inconsistent. Once I started doing it quickly, it got smoother and easier. Just something to consider.

By all means, if your not comfortable with it, change it.
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain
