Thanked: 267Carbon Boron Nitride. It is nano type technology and cuts very rapidly. The beautiful thing is that it does not gouge the metal like diamonds do and thus does not have the "toothy" edge that is associated with diamond cut edges. I find these edges smooth and they give a very keen edge.

Where can you purchase it? I haven't seen it in any of the shaving related online stores.

Thanked: 267Sorry I should have included the link. There may other places to buy but I use this vendor. JENDE: Ken Schwartz CBN Sprays
I use the 0.1 micron stuff and a bottle although a little steep will last a very long time.
Take care,
Richard

Thanked: 31Am I the only one who uses slurry from a fine water stone as abrasive strop paste?
It works wonders for me, and this way I don't have to buy any sprays or pastes (except that a non-abrasive paste can be good to have)

Great info here. Balsa hones seem really practical. Think going from CNat to Amplex Diamond #1/4(0-0.25micron) to the Carbon Boron Nitride will make Feather yellows hide in the drawer wimpering?
