    Default pears soap as strop conditioner...

    hello people..i have this type of soap in my home...

    I don't know but I wouldn't use it as it (combined with moisture in the air) can dissolve the natural oils in the leather. Stick with mink oil.

    It may contain all kinds of neat healthful stuff but the bottom line is its soap. I wouldn't want any type of soap on my strops. The usual conditioners and methods work the best don't go looking for trouble it will find you on its own.
