Could somebody do an at length video on the SRD modular paddle strop? This is my one and only strop at this point, with premium 1 leather.I'm not sure I'm using it right or to best advantage based on the few short clips I've seen.

One thing that helped me with learning to strop was developing timing and rhythm. So I got to thinking: metronome. Thing about a metronome is, you can speed it up as you need. So you can treat it like going to the gym, with speed as weights. Once you can do 20 reps easily at a certain speed, up it by 5bpm or so and go again, like how you increase your lifting weights at the gym.

Anyway, that is the theory. So here's a little vid of me using a free metronome app on my smartphone to maintain a good rhythm during stropping.

You've definitely got the beat! I'm definitely working on it, and your stropping video is one of my trainers.

Here's my humble contribution to Stroptober

Please bare over with the language and stuttering, I'm not very comfortable being in front of the camera, and even less in a foreign language, I think it took 20-30 takes before I got a useful result, but hey, we all take one for the team, right

Thank-you for this video! I have met people from all over the world and never stopped being amazed that many of them could speak to me in my language, English, and I could not say even one word in theirs. Thanks again, great video.

Forgot to put this old one in with the big loom strop. Really shows the stropping stroke.
