Thanked: 0Had to jump in here...
Gentlemen,
I realize this is my first post, been lurking a long time but only recently finally registered AND I discovered a good looking possibility here and wanted to share...
It was important to me not to put holes in any of my bathroom walls or cabinets, and I didn't want all of my hardware necessarily out in the open (dust and small child) - so I thought about a nickel hook that would be pretty heavy but easily removed - and I remembered that I have a brushed chrome large bathrobe hook that is one of those 3M removeable stick on hooks - I placed it between the fake oak panels that mimic drawers on the front of my bathroom sink - using it as as towel hook right now, Tony's hanging strop on the way - I think it will be perfect -
Just an idea - K

Thanked: 1I just wanted to add pictures of how I mounted my Tony Miller strop:
That is a 2 - 2.5" Long 1/4" Stainless Steel hook bolted from the inside of the cabinet. Very solid.

That's how I mounted mine. I'm very happy with it. Too bad I'm moving now.

Haha well
Ummm, I had not thought about actually finding a place to hang the strop when I first ordered it. When all the stuff came in, I was so eager to test it all that I had to come up with a place and a mounting quickly. I dug out a scew and screwed it into the side of the crappy cabinet that sits over my toilet. This seems to be working for now, but soon I will be going out to get a more suitable hook. I like the idea of the sticky mounted hook.
I have also contracted my local framer to make me a frame for the strop. It shall have a faux antique finish with gold frills on the outside border. "Tony Miller" will be engraved into a bronze plate at the top of the frame. I will charge people 3 bucks a pop to have photos taken next to the strop; 50 cents for the kiddies!
