    Default Strop with tape after honing with tape.?

    Just honed a razor with tape, do I have to strop with tape. I think not but what do u guys think

    Remove the tape to strop. The slight flex in the strop allows contact with the edge so no need for tape to retain any angles.

    Complicated answer...leave it on in case you have to take it back to the hone.

    I wouldn't even use tape to hone. So, no and no.
