    So, better late to the party than not at all, right? Today I picked up a linen shirt and double glass pane picture frame at the thrift store for 3 bucks. I plan to cut and attach the linen to the two glass panes, and attach each of those to wood bases and put a .5 and .25 on and - viola! a homemade bench pasted strop setup. Now if only I could find quality diamond paste at the thrift store...

    Seriously though, anyone ever tried a setup like this? Am I going about it all wrong?

    I thought about felt instead, thoughts?
