Thread: Shark Skin Strop?

I dissected a shark in lab once and after the first day had NO fingerprints!

I've read you can get a serious "road rash" from a close encounter with a live shark.


Anyone experienced in such?

The local zoo has a large pool where small sharks, non dangerous hopefully, are kept and visitors are encouraged to touch them. Their skin certainly has a rough texture, as I have touched them a few times. I assume like any group of animals and or fish, each species is unique.
