Thread: Stroptober is here and I need to replace my only strop

    All fine suggestions. I have a felt 3" that's pretty virgin.

    So, after my recent experience, I'm convinced that purchasing "in-house" aka SRP Vendors is important particularly for someone just starting out.

    16" length 3" GemStar bench strop, here we come!

    I would suggest you make the silk strop and see how it works out. The denim strop I make seems to be working for me. I have no scientific data to prove that it is working. I just know that I am enjoying using it as well as the leather strop.
