Default Paddle strop restoration & modification.

    Hi.
I found that old “sprung’ paddle strop and i thought that it’s worth saving. Leather was in pretty bad condition so i replaced it with balsa wood. I pasted it with chromium oxide and white Thiers Issard paste o both sides. I’ve finished the handle with natural wax. I even made a cover for it

Nice restoration. How did you make the cover? I have a TM 4 sided paddle strop that could use a cover.

Good idea. The cover will keep the dirt off the strop surface.
