Thanked: 3Hey rowdi, I
I bought the Filly some months back as a strop to learn on, and I've found it to be an excellent strop with no frills, but its been very serviceable and its nice not to have to worry about making a few mistakes on it, as it's relatively inexpensive. I really appreciated that the rough side of the strop came with chromium oxide on it. I've used that side quite a bit and the chromium oxide has lasted a very long side.
I believe that my fiance, w some direction, has ordered me Lynn's modular strop for my upcoming birthday, which I am really excited about, but I am sure I will still use the filly especially when traveling.
watch some of the videos on this site to learn the strokes to get them into your muscle memory. I find that the mistakes I make in stropping when I actually nick the strop are when I am thinking too hard or if I am distracted.....
Happy stropping

I believe they are talking about the one from RupRazor.
One of the young guns I taught to use a straight got one, not a bad strop, a bit stiff at first but decent quality.
Link for you
