Default English Leather, With English Steel

    Hey Guys,
I've been waiting over a year to get myself a Neil Miller strop. I had been waiting till the car was paid off, then use the little extra to get one of Neil's strops.

Many things have been said about Neil's strops & I'm not going to be able to add an educated critique of the one I just received. I have only been traveling this journey for 3 years. I think my biggest concern with the purchase was with all of the details & praise that I had read over the years in regard to Neil's work; that somehow the strop could not live up to my high expectations that had been created.

Well,,,,when I opened the box from England & removed the strop, I felt joy & satisfaction that I cannot put into words. These strops are everything that you have heard they are. Thank you Neil !!

Neil, I only hope that there is someone you are training, passing done your skills to, that can carry forth your standards into future generations.

It was only fitting that the first razor this strop will service will be old English steel,
    my grandfather's Wade & Butcher.

    Thanks for looking,
    Hirlau

That is absolutely beautiful - a work of art.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

I'm not sure if I'm more envious of the strop or the fact that you aren't making payments. I have to say congratulations on both. They are both sweet but the strop is on my xmas list.

    Gentlemen,

Neil Miller is an artist and his strops bear that signature.

    Good show, Hirlau.

Great purchase. You will enjoy it! Indeed, Neil is an excellent craftsman and certainly has an eye for fine leather.
I can just imagine the leather merchant squirming as Neil comes in:
"Oh MY! Here he comes again!"
