    Default Supex 77 Strop

    Strop_it strops

Has anyone tried this strop? It's a modular one like the SRD one. Unfortunately, however, the cost of shipping makes the SRD one too expensive and impractical (I'm in the UK)

This looks like a decent enough strop, but I'd be happoer buying something if I've heard from someone else who's tried it.

Can't find anyone who's tried one, so I decided to just take the plunge and have ordered one.

Thanks for that. For anyone else that's interested, they are French-made and very durable - we have two other models and all can be seen here . Thanks - if this is in the wrong place BTW mod please move it?

I think you have had this long enough to put it through its passes, so how have you found the Paddle Strop?

Did you purchase anymore beds for it?

How are you using it? Using Pastes at all?

    All the best.

I'm happy with the strop - it's good. I haven't bought any extra beds yet, although, at some point, I plan on getting the English Bridle bed.

As for pastes, I want to use paste on the clear bed, but haven't been able to locate a supplier for 0.5 micron paste/spray in the UK/EU yet.

Did you happen to find out what micron grade it was?

    Steve never replied im afraid.

That Paddle strop does look great.

I have purchased some leather to make two paddle strops but not any wood to mount on think i will still get this strop so i have a quality item before i play making my own paddles.

(I'm still waiting for an answer myself, but I understand that Chromox works slightly differently from diamond paste and as such has not got a 'grit' size - I stand to be corrected of course!!)
