    Default My first Neil Miller

Well, here's my first Neil Miller strop.

It's his starter strop and he was good enough to send me a length of seconds grade cotton with it.

Straight to the sail makers, stitched the cotton both ends and stuck an eyelet in the same place as the leather.

The leather knot that came with the strop removed and used as a handle of sorts for the canvas. I think it looks decent!

Small carabiner to put through the eyelets and some parachute cord to make a noose either side.

It'll do till I've got the money to get one of his better ones

Never trust a man who, when left alone in a room with a tea cosy, doesn't try it on!
