    Default Re-paste?

For those of you that use past on your hanging strop, how often do you re-paste?

That might depend upon how many razors you strop. Just for daily personal use, I might paste once a year and that is not using the pasted strop every day. That is using the pasted strop only as needed.

I don't have a pasted hanger, mine is a homemade balsa bench strop. I made it about 5 years ago and to date have only pasted it once (with chrome ox). Every now and then I consider repasting it but then I'll try it one more time and low and behold it still works wonders. It has seen use many times.

So I guess the answer is: when it needs it

After I got it dirty and had to clean it off.
