Maybe a bit of a newbie question but how would you go about setting up a newspaper to learn to strop on?

The little Dovo strop is pretty cool for a beginner/every day strop. It's not a wide strop; but it's quite acceptable.

Cut a few layers thick, by desired width (2.5 -3"), by about 26" or whatever you can get, then use a bulldog clip at each end.
