    Default Vintage leather find

Last Sunday I came across these three old strops at a flea market near my house. They show signs of use, luckily no signs of abuse!!! I know they'll serve me well but if anyone here has experience with any of these, I'd appreciate their feedback.

Bam 3 in 1 shot, wow. Nice hunting trip. Just clean em up and test drive them. If they have linen that needs cleaning just scrub it with soap and water , let dry flat. Keep it flat by pressing once in awhile. I would just clean the leather with liquid glycerin and wipe dry.

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

    Great find.
Great find, like Bill said, if you do the wine bottle thing wait until after you finsh the strops to drink it .........

Edit, I've got that same dubl duck Satin Edge shell strop and it is a good one, needless to say. Certifyd is also first rate. I've got a couple of their strops, including their top of the line shell, the Red Imp. All three of those are first rate pro barber strops.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

The one in the middle is the strop I use most days, of the 5 I have it is my favorite.
I got it for 1 cent plus shipping in an auction with awful pics. I was after the linen component, but when it came I was pleased to find the leather in great shape.
