I saw Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, and Mother Maybelle Carter at the Midwest Old Settlers and Threshers Reunion many (35ish) years ago. Ernest Tubb was also on the bill
Pure Awesome.

Some good old units there. You've bounced around a bit! The only places I saw in the Army was Ft. Benning and Ft. Bragg, neither of which I'm in a big hurry to visit again any time soon. Once I bounced to the Navy, I got around quite a bit...Took the Fifteen Year retirement and ran!
EDIT: Tried to put up unit crests, but no size continuity looked like dookie.Last edited by entropy1049; 06-22-2014 at 04:53 AM.

I'm not gonna lie to you, the army has changed a lot and still changing, I don't think I'll like the peace time army. ... it's all about feelings now and sensual assault/harassment prevention, no tattoos... it's getting softer and softer by the minute. I doubt doing 20. See I'm sleeved up both arms so now I can't apply to be officer (which I'm not trying) or warrant officer (which I was planning to do). The army care about how u look not what / who u are or what u can do or bring to the table.

A bureaucracy is a bureaucracy no matter what its selling or providing. Sleeves in any sector, public or private, are going to be an issue. Just the way it is, and always has been. Fit-in or fall-out.
