Default Rich man strop vs Big Daddy

Feeling like upgrading my current poor man strop to something nicer and wider (3"). These two strops have caught my eye, which one do you think is the best value?

Also if have any other strops to recommend in the same price range (including shipping to Greece ) feel free to do so!

I started with the poor man's strop. It was great. I'm sure his rich man strop is of good quality.

I have star shavings lap strop and big daddy with felt too. I love it and the pricetag.

You can't go wrong either way and I am not sure one has more value than the other. Both are about equal quality so I would just go with whatever your gut is telling you.

I only have experience with the Big Daddy, but I love mine I have the english bridle and latigo. I have also made a cheap paddle strop that I use occasionally.
Razor rich, but money poor. I should have diversified into Eschers!

What a pleasant problem to have. You mastered your beginners strop.and are ready to move up to a man-size strop. You'll probably like anything you get. This decision is up to you. Congratulations on learning what was a difficult thing for me to learn! Carry on!

Definitely. I had one of these and it was great. He might want to opt for the more expensive one if shipping costs offset the savings.
