Default I joined the club!! :'(

Yeah, I know that the damage is trivial compared to most strop mishaps, but this is the first time for me. I have a bit of a cold and was nearly finished with my post-shave stropping when I felt a cough coming on. I lifted the razor off the strop, but the jerk was more than I anticipated, and I felt the razor bite in anyway. RATS!

So here's the question: what's the best way to deal with that tiny flap? Should I cut it off, flush and sand the scar? Or is it worth trying to glue it down with some rubber cement or leather glue?
When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead. It's difficult only for the others.
It's the same when you are stupid.

Send the strop to me and buy another...it's ruined.

I would try the rubber cement then sand it. It doesn't look to bad, I've fixed worse

If you're going to drink ........ don't strop ....... before I put the plug in the jug I did a flap, big flap on a Tony Miller latigo. Used Devcon Contact Cement and you couldn't tell it was ever cut. My main strop has quite a few divots in the edge close to the inside where I hold it. I ignore them.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thank goodness I am not the only one doing that. I don't feel so lonely anymore.
