Thread: What do you guys think about this strop?

So a friend made this strop for me, i thought it was awesome and very nice work, my only concern is that the leather seems kinda thick and its really stiff, i read somewhere that stiffness and thickness are both desirable
the first picture is when i fort got it i took it in class haha

this second picture is the way i have it mounted to the wall

and this third one is how much it flexes holding it up on one end, not very much


also im getting my first straight razor from Douglas cutlery in a couple week
