Looks super nice - how thick and supple is the leather?

The leather is quite thick and heavy around 4mm but still has a nice feel when stropping. Slickest draw!

Glad to hear such a good review. I have been looking at these strops for a few weeks now. I think I am going to order one Monday.

You won't be disappointed! Which one are you looking at buying?

Either the Deluxe Italian or English Bridle. Not really sure but leaning towards the English Bridle.

Yeah I was the same I like the look of that Italian leather but I'm glad I went with the English Bridle in the end. It is the nicest English Bridle leather I have ever seen. The cotton side is great, seems to perform really well and it is really heavy duty like the leather. So far I have found 30 strokes on the cotton followed by 80 on the leather seems to be a good combination. I haven't stropped a freshly honed razor on it yet.

It's been a while since I have been on here, work gets in the way of life sometimes! Recently just bought a Deluxe English Bridle 3" strop from SRW Strops. Man this thing is the most heavy duty strop I have come across, I haven't even had a chance to use it yet, I will post some pics tomorrow with my Saturday morning shave.

Does anyone else have any experience with these strops?

    Happy shaving!
