Thanked: 3795Yes, but it's more of a fun novelty than an effective method. It saves little time overall.

Boy howdy, this one got me going, I just tried two handed shaving one razor in each hand going ATG starting at ears......I let out a holler then had to go to the bathroom real bad. I'm calling the pass the bandolier pass.

Thanked: 522About 5 or 6 of my strops are connected at both ends with Chicago type screws. I just turn the strop end for end and put the screws back in so that the left side of the stropping surface is now the right side and vice versa.
I have been shaving ambidextrously for over 40 years but have never stropped lefty. Accidently nicking my strop would put me in a tailspin so I will skip lefty stropping..............JERRY
OOOPS! Pass the styptic please.

Sounds like an idea! I'm right handed & I used to use a conventional strop until I got a large Mastro Livi Strop from SRD quite awhile back because I have no collarbone in my left shoulder so that makes it even more that I'm right handed but I always practiced shooting a pistol left handed in case I were ever winged! When I used the conventional strop, I noticed that I tended to ease up on the tautness of the strop. I can see where it might be awhile to get it down stropping with the left hand.

Thanked: 2027JMO.In Reality, if you use an X stroke (as you should) the wear on the strop will be equal across the entire surface.
Right handed, left handed, makes no diff.CAUTION

I could hear my strops quivering as I read this. As I started in their direction, there were ear-splitting screams and they all dashed for the door & slithered down the driveway at a high rate of speed. I hacked up so many strops they've grown leery of me contemplating experimentation. Hmm. Maybe I should try w/ a bench strop. 'Would be a bit easier & they don't run as fast...
