    Well, try doing that with a, 50mm Iwasaki Kamisori and a 3" strop,for example.

    I could hear my strops quivering as I read this. As I started in their direction, there were ear-splitting screams and they all dashed for the door & slithered down the driveway at a high rate of speed. I hacked up so many strops they've grown leery of me contemplating experimentation. Hmm. Maybe I should try w/ a bench strop. 'Would be a bit easier & they don't run as fast...

    I don't see where that would make any difference since I believe both sides would need stropping rather than just the hollow ground side.
