My wife bought me a new SRD 3" (i think) bufallo strop for christmas. When I opened up the shipping package I noticed there was some wrinkels on the top half of the leather. This is my first strop so I dont know if that is normal and if it affects the edge of the razor. When I go over that section it feels like a mini washboard. Because of this I generaly only strop using the front 1/2 of the strop. This is probably the worst section but there are two other sections in the far half of the strop that are similar. I kind of feel like I might have got a bad strop but wanted to make sure this wasnt normal before I contacted SRD. What do you think?
