    Default DIY Paddle strop

Bought some leather and glue from Michael's and got started on a quick and easy paddle strop project.

I actually ended up using Goop because the gorilla glue didn't hold at all!

I carved out a paddle from the red oak wood I got from HD.
cut the leather to size and glued it on after a couple coats of oil sealer.

In case you were wondering it is double sided.

I have enough wood and leather to make another but this time with webbing on the other side
It's nothing fancy but it's a nice and cheep Sunday Project.

Thinking of some Crox paste and maybe doing all leather since I can't find webbing of the appropriate size.
