The outfit that made that strop was one of the largest strop makers around and made high end stuff. They made them with all kinds of logos on them but they all have that logo at the bottom and that saying about the certified check.

I hung this one and left super slack hand rubbed for a decent bit. The slack means it bows heaps moving around you palm so you are heating and creating a moving curve at the same time. This didn't cut it for the Nichiri when I did it so used the counter top method where face up on the bench and holding at each end you run one end over the edge and 90 degrees down the side of the bench moving back and forward making a sharp moving curve. Hth

I have seen the Certifyd strops highly praised and that is why I brought this one. That and the chance to try vintage linen.
