    Default DIY Paddle Strops

Size: 34.7 KB This is my version of the homemade paddle strop. I am in the military so the small one can go in my assault pack the larger goes in my hooch when i am out and about. So far they work pretty good i just did not want to ruin my hanging strops i have at home. Yes they were made in a hurry i might try to refine them later but for now they do work.

    nice jobs
maybe a rolled up Roo strop would be better for your pack definitely smaller & lighter

Nice job with the paddle strops. I've been thinking of making one to if I don't use the leather for something else. I would need to get a good size piece of wood to use though.
    I like the wrapped handle.

What type of wood and leather did you use?
