I'd go for a Scrupleworks !
I also owned a Kanayama (the three-piece one) but I didn't use it a lot because of I feared damaging it (the price!!) and because there's no handle which for me now is a reason not to buy it. BUT the leather was the best I ever encountered.

Thanked: 2284Bison Made makes a great strop. My current everyday strop is their Horsehide. I love that strop and use it more than my Vintage Chicago Shell, and cow Hide.

Thanked: 3215A new guy brought over a Mountain Man Mike strop, so to show him how to use it. A very nice strop, if I was in the market I would definitely look at those. I tried one years ago and it is still as good as I remember. As I recall they are well priced.
Can’t go wrong with SRD, my go to are vintage, love the old leathers and real linen.
