Thanked: 3215Probably the wisest choice, but might be a good opportunity to get a firsthand look at what a rolled or chipped edge looks like, then send it back and see how it was fixed.
Get some magnification, you will need it in the future to examine your edges and learn which issues can be easily repaired with a strop, paste or re-honed.

I do need a magnification source I have access to an awesome microscope at work which I have looked at my pocket knife blade under and it is neat to see the edge. I don't really want to bring my razor to work there are idiots here whom need constant attention and I don't think I can sneak it out it is pretty good size ; ) But as I said for now I am going to be content with a pro dealing with it and when I get another razor and more fun $ I will start tinkering with honing and other items associated. Thank you again Euclid440

Thanked: 101Why don't you get some vintage practice razors ? I would have a very hard time buying a $200.00 razor as my first blade then be afraid to hone or strop it. You can buy vintage razors all day long in the $20.00 to $50.00 range that with a little work will shave better than your new $200.00 one.
I like my razors to look nice but I care more about how they shave!
